Denison ISD Counseling Update 2025-2026
Texas law (Senate Bill 12) requires a signed Mental Health Services Consent before the school counselor can provide any care, including academic and attendance support.
Without this consent, the campus counselor will be unable to work in a 1:1 setting with your child — even for small needs or common challenges.
Please complete the E-Consent form as soon as possible so we can continue to provide counseling supports for your student at school.
As always, Denison ISD will continue to communicate with our families regarding services and supports for your students.
